Born in Switzerland on February 23, 1995, soprano Daria Rybak is one of the most promising singers of her generation.
She started her singing studies at a very young age, at the Vevey-Montreux-Riviera Conservatory and then she continued her development at the Royal College of Music in London, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in music in 2018. Daria has also participated in numerous Masterclasses in Italy, England, Austria and Russia.
Since 2011 she has been performing regularly in Switzerland (at the Vevey Theater, Montreux Jazz Festival, Les Classiques de Villars festival, etc.) and abroad (Mozarteum Salzburg, Rhodes National Theater, O2 Arena London, etc.). She won numerous awards, notably first place in the Swiss Music Competition for Youth (CSMG) in 2011 and 2013, the Baccarini and Hugues Cuénod prizes in 2013, an Opperby Stokowski Award during her studies at the RCM, and the Migros Cultural Percentage Study Award in 2020.
Her mentor and vocal teacher is the internationally acclaimed tenor Yusif Eyvazov. An important support in studying her repertoire is her coach, Saadat Ismayilova.
